Rederi AB Väderö Tank är ett familjeägt rederi med bas i Sverige, grundat 1991 av kapten Paul Reimbert. Vi bedriver trafik inom olje- och kemikalietransporter och opererar idag tre tankfartyg. Nu söker vi 1–2 erfarna 2:e Maskinister för tjänstgöring i back-to-back rotation.
Om tjänsten
Som 2:e Maskinist ombord på vårt fartyg M/T NORE får du en viktig roll i maskin organisationen med ansvar för drift, underhåll och säker maskin verksamhet. Fartyget trafikerar främst Sverige–Danmark.

Krav (obligatoriska)
För att vara aktuell för tjänsten behöver du ha:
Giltiga certifikat enligt STCW Manila
(alla certifikat kontrolleras mot sjötjänst intyg)
Olje- och kemikalietankerbehörighet
Erfarenhet från liknande fartygsstorlek
Minst 4–5 kontrakt på olje-/bunker fartyg
God kunskap om bunker operationer
God förmåga att kommunicera på engelska i tal och skrift

Founded 1991. Shipping company. Have different vessels around the globe. Specialized in fish oil but also have vessels transporting oil and other types of fuel. Team of 5 are based in Grebbestad on the west coast of Sweden. 120 employees working at the vessels.
The company has a good atmosphere, and this is an opportunity to be part of nice colleagues who are like a family. The company will also help with finding accommodation in Grebbestad or nearby.

About the position: (brief description of position, work tasks, responsibilities)
You should be loyal, reliable, hardworking and meticulous person with an interest of the technical part of the vessel
Your responsibility will be to handle the technical department with cooperation with the Office team. You are based in Grebbestad but responsible to make sure all technical aspects on the vessels function well.

Candidate Profile: (competencies/experiences required)
Competence in Maritime Industries is needed. Experiences is required, minimum experience 5 years. Higher education is required

Experience as technical Superintendent / Chief Engineer / is more than welcome. You could also have experience as Second Engineer.
Ideal candidate has worked ashore and have experience and understanding of both management and environment at sea.
Service at sea, good ability in English both spoken and written, computer skills, especially in PMS (Planned Maintenance System), experience in quality assurance and high simultaneous skills are seen as merits.
